The third city is the internet

Distribution platforms flattened the distance between these places long ago. A release published from a rooftop in Southeast Asia reaches Berlin within seconds. What cannot be flattened is what the place left in the work — which is why listeners keep trying to locate the cities inside the tracks, and keep finding them there.
